FTA Dangerous Goods Seminar

ADR regulations are reviewed and modified on two yearly cycles, with the next set of changes taking affect 2012 - 2014. The Freight Transport Association [FTA] have organized their one-day Dangerous Goods Seminar to outline these changes on Thursday 6th September at The Park Royal Hotel in Warrington


Dangerous goods consigners and operators continue to face a stream of leglislative changes. This, combined with ever-growing commercial and competitive pressures, means the importance of being aware of the latest regulations and compliance issues is paramount. From now until 2014 major changes in dangerous goods legislation will affect every part of the supply chain across all modes, meaning preparing your transport operation for the impact of these is key.


FTA's Dangerous Goods Seminar will provide you with the necessary information and advice to ensure you are prepared for these key legislative developments, through industry expert speakers from a range of authorities and regulators.


The speakers include Terry Laker from The Health and Safety Executive [HSE] who works with the Police and VOSA on ADR enforcement, Keith Bradley of The Maritime and Coastguard Agency [MCA] on the IMDG code, Ross McLachlan of The Civil Aviation Authority [CAA], Fraser Talbot of the Scottish Qualifications Agency [SQA] among others. The Seminar will be chaired by Ali Karim, Managing Director of The Hazchem Network.
