Johnston Logistics win’s 2011 Technology Award

The Hazchem Network are delighted to announce that Depot 103 Johnston Logistics who cover Northern and Southern Ireland, have been recognised for their use of technology in Logistics. This is a remarkable achievement following their success at the Fleet Transport Awards last year.


The Irish Logistic and Transport Awards took place Thursday night 10th February. The awards attracted over 100 entries with 43 finalists across 12 categories with judges commenting on the overall high standards which made choosing the eventual winners all the more difficult.

Johnston Logistics was short listed as a finalist in the “Technology” category and were delighted to be announced the winners of this award on the night! See attached a picture of Carl Johnston (Johnston Logistics IT Manager) accepting the award.


The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is a worldwide organisation and is the recognised professional body for any organisation involved in transport and logistics. To be awarded the Technology Award 2011 cements our position in technology focused logistics solutions in the Irish, UK and European markets.
