The Biennial Dangerous Goods Roadshow

19 May 2016

Hazchem Network is delighted to see that our colleague Richard Shreeve of Labeline, in conjunction with Hazardous Cargo Bulletin is managing a series of Dangerous Goods Roadshows. Hazchem Network strongly recommends these series of seminars to all those working the hazardous sector, as they are presented by the professionals, are cost-effective and are to be held in 3 UK locations, to make travel manageable as 1-day events.

We hope to see some of you at the roadshow.

From Richard Shreeve -

An accessible and affordable update seminar for anyone concerned with the packing and shipping of dangerous goods by any mode of transport.

Every two years the Dangerous Goods Regulations are updated and delegates will benefit from hearing industry and regulatory experts provide details of the forthcoming changes -before they take effect from January 2017.

Hosted by world-leading DG compliance specialists, Labeline International, these seminars are priced at a level to encourage companies to send more than one person. Packers, operators, consultants and managers will enhance their understanding of the amendments and how their business will be affected. Crucial information picked up from attending could result in a reduced risk of delays and fines from non-compliance.

There will also be a section dedicated to the hot topic, and the ever-increasing concerns, surrounding the safe transport of lithium batteries*.

A comprehensive exhibition will give delegates the opportunity to meet with their suppliers and network with professionals from across the dangerous goods industry.

The Roadshow will coincide with the publication of IMDG 38-16, IATA DGR 58th Edition, ICAO Technical Instructions 2017/18 and ADR 2017, all of which will be available for pre-order to collect at your local event.
