Multimodal 2015

23 March 2015

As Easter approaches, we are all preparing for the busiest period in the packaged logistics sector; after which comes "Multimodal 2015", hosted by Birmingham’s NEC between 28th – 30th April 2015.

Now in its eighth year, Multimodal is the UK and Ireland’s premier freight transport, logistics and supply chain management event. Shippers and cargo owners visit to find ways of moving cargo more efficiently and to meet new suppliers.

Multimodal represents every logistics sector under one roof, making it a unique and highly valued industry showcase.

More information on Multimodal is available here

To coincide with Multimodal 2015, Hazchem Network’s regular Dangerous Goods column at Truck and Track Magazine focuses on "Safe Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Sea" including the multimodal dimension with Road Transport. We also provide an insight into Hazchem Network’s members in Ireland, Depot 103 Johnston Logistics based in Dublin, Cork and Limerick as well as Depot 101 Allen Logistics based in Moira NI [just outside of Belfast] and Leicestershire on the mainland.
