The National Chemical Emergency Centre [NCEC] will be presenting their Chemical Hazard Awareness and Spill Response training course at the Hazchem Network Hub at 18 Gladiator Way, Glebe Farm Industrial Estate, Rugby, CV21 1RX on 29 January 2015.

The NCEC [National Chemical Emergency Centre] is the primary source of chemical emergency advice to the UKs emergency services, and as a company that handles chemicals as part of your day-to-day activities, were pleased to announce that our training roadshow is coming to the Midlands and we would like to extend an invitation to your organisation at the reduced cost of 210 for the full day (standard price 310).

  • This one-day course will provide your delegates with the following:-
  • an understanding of the nature of chemicals, their hazards and the likely effects of exposure to personnel and the environment;
  • the ability to interpret the information that accompanies chemicals and use it to assess the risks of dealing with a spillage and determine the required safety aspects;
  • a guide to spill response management using best practice as taught to the emergency services;
  • the confidence to make a safe and effective response to a spillage;
  • a practical demonstration of dealing with a chemical spill.
